Quest moves to Dunroven Farm in Canada Grade 2 winner Quest has arrived for stallion duty at the Lawson family’s Dunroven Farm in Manitoba, Canada, after standing five seasons at Arthur B. Hancock III’s Stone Farm in Paris, Kentucky. Hancock, who co-bred the stallion in Kentucky, has retained an interest in Quest, who will stand for about $981 ($1,000 Canadian) in 2011.

Quest is an 11-year-old by Seeking the Gold out of stakes-placed winner Starlore, by Spectacular Bid. He won the 2003 Clark Handicap (G2) at Churchill Downs, set a track record when winning the
71⁄2-furlong Lure Stakes in 1:29 at Gulfstream Park, and finished second in the 2003 Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park.

He won or placed in 14 of 23 races and earned $768,012. Quest is the sire of ten winners, including Rattlin Gypsy, who has earned $43,430 with two wins and five seconds from 13 races.

Chris Blake of Ascot Stud in Ontario, Canada, brokered the deal to stand Quest at Dunroven.
